"I've already hurt you far too much, I'm not even sure if I even still deserve to see you smile, let alone be with you..." The young Duke said, looking at her with sad eyes.
"It's alright. I'll continue on this journey with you, even if you want me to go to a safer place. I'm happy to be by your side and see this through the end. Even if I get hurt over and over, I'll just smile the hurt away so I can see you smile once again." The young Duchess replied, smiling while tears threaten to spill from her eyes. "Even for a little while longer...I want to stay by your side."
The Young Duke only looked at her in the eyes. "Do I even really deserve you...?"

Eh, just some thoughts for the young Duke and Duchess for my Project Alice. This is when they were younger, way before Alice get into Wonderland.
